Comments : Four Friday Facts
I find it frustrating that Kim Hargreaves isn't publishing her patterns separately. I can understand it not being profitable to sell each one individually, but if she came out with a book for each collection, surely she'd be able to make some good money with that!
It's just tough, not only if you can't afford the kit, but also if you don't like or can't wear the yarn (for allergy reasons) the yarn in the kit.
I'm hoping for the books...I'd buy them.

i know, aren't those kim hargreaves kits just divine! i have also been lusting after them. (but then generally happens every time she lauches a new season)
i wanted to let you know that i have just finished knitting the cute little accessories pouch from "handknit holidays" in your very own hipknits silk which the lovely amelia of knitter natter fame sent over to me as a gift. i have to line and seam it and then i will post some photos - but i just had to give you feedback and tell you how absolutely divine the yarn was to work to...and the colours..oh my, even non-knitters were commenting on them.

Best of luck with the shop! I really, really wish I could come to the grand opening, but that weekend is the start of the London Book Fair, so that's where I'll be instead. Not as fun!

I seem to have missed the post on the handspun challenge. If you are still looking for a home for that yarn I'm sure I could be inspited to make something beautiful with it :-)

If I win the lottery tomorrow, I promise to buy you one of each of the Kim Hargreaves kits! I too love that sample of handspun ooh please send it to me! I'll make you something lovely - once I've finished looking at it and stroking it! Very jealous of your trip to Frankfurt - please can I come next time!!!!

I was going to ask about swifts too... tho my boyf has some idea of making me one *a little scared of prospect*
also, is there some issue with your magknits email or are you just too busy to reply to my emails? Just a two line "its ok to use your own yarn" would do - I'm all ready to go otherwise so its getting frustrating. I know you're busy!

Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing the shop. Will you be selling swifts and ball winders?
