Shawl Kit teaser

Shawl kits
Oh, the shawl kits are getting close to being ready. I have all of the yarns dyed, one of the patterns almost finished and the other pattern is being worked on for me right now. There will be 10 shawl kits available, 2 in each of 5 colours. I can show you the purple, green and blue and pink and brown and pink ones now. The black and white version is not dry yet.
If anyone wants to reserve a kit, please email me at info@hipknits.co.uk. I'll let one of each colour go now, otherwise they will be on sale on HipKnits from early June. The kits will contain 100g of 100% merino wool, 100g of 100% mohair, 100g of kid mohair twist and 100g of alpaca / BFL blend together with 2 shawl patterns. The cost per shawl kit is going to be £35.00 plus £3 postage to the UK and £4 postage internationally.
Please note if you order one now your order will not be posted for another couple of weeks until the patterns are written up and ready to go.

Site update
Good Morning HipKnitters!
Its time for that big monthly site update, and it’s a good one again this month.
On the silk side of things, we have 29 colours of aran weight silk, and 12 colours of lace weight silk
Do I hear you ask for cashmere? Not wanting to disappoint we have 6 colours of aran weight cashmere , 4 colours of lace weight cashmere , and a whopping 12 colours of sock cashmere .
On the sock yarn page we have 12 different colours and you can expect to see some new discounts appearing on our existing wool range as well as some new wool colours later in the month.
As usual, if you don’t see a colour that you like just email me and I’ll see what I can do.
The cashmere club and the competition are both now closed for new entries. I’m dyeing the cashmere club yarn tomorrow so it should be set to be posted out on Monday to everyone who has joined. I’m so excited! You still have another couple of weeks for the silk club, although places are again filling up fast.
There is still one place left on the next dyeing yarn day, let me know if you are interested.
