Sweet Georgia Speed Demon sock
Yum. That's pretty much the first word that comes to mind when thinking about the new Speed Demon sock yarn we have in the shop at the moment. It looks gorgeous, feels beautiful and knits up like a dream. One skein is enough for a pair of socks and I happened to find a free pattern online this morning. Check it out.
Edited to add - I heard from Heather the designer of the free pattern today. She is asking that people knit a pair of socks to donate to the Dulaan project in exchange for the free pattern. Now, doesn't that sound like a nice thing to do?

New lace cashmere
These are 4 new colours of laceweight cashmere that will be on the website on Monday. I have 1 kilo of each of them and they really are the softest skeins of cashmere I have ever felt. They used to live in a a mill in Italy this time, rather than the usual Scottish cashmere I buy. I kept the colours nice and simple this time. We have a beautiful sunflower yellow, a pale buttermilk lemon colour that is so close to ivory but just a fraction more yellow, a peaceful pale pink and a lovely soft teal colour.
